Policies and Procedures

I. School Policies
A. School Uniform
Designs of school uniforms are available in CFAS.

B.     Dress code
i.    Our pupils/students are smartly dressed in their school uniforms. At all times shirts should be buttoned and   tucked in by boys while girls should tie their belts.
ii.     Only white socks/stockings should be with black shoes. Open sandals are not acceptable.
iii.     Hair colour should be natural. Boys should have low cut while girls should weave        braid, pack long natural hair with blue or white ribbon or hair band or cut their        hair low. Hairstyles should be suitable and tidy, without attachments.
iv.     No jewellery with school uniform except a pair of small earrings by girls. Dangling earrings are not allowed.
v.     All the students may wear wristwatches.

C.    Absence from school
It is very important that parents explain why their child is away from school either by writing a letter, or calling in before the school day starts. We are very concerned when parents take children away on holiday during school time, or for no justifiable reasons. Prolonged and repetitive absences can disrupt a child’s education. Parents are therefore asked to discuss pre planned or sudden withdrawals from school well in advance with the Head of School.

D.    Fees
Fees are paid in advance per term or per session. The Management of CFAS reserves the        right to review school fees as and when it deems necessary in line with changes in costs associated-with providing “CFAS –Standard” education and normally gives a full term’s notice of the new fees.

E.    Withdrawals
A full term’s notice is required or a term’s fees in lieu of notice, to withdraw your child or ward.
